About Ghandruk
Ghandruk is one of the largest Gurung settlements in Nepal, perched on a hillside at 1,940m with magnificent views of Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, and Machapuchare (Fishtail). This traditional village is a living museum of Gurung culture, with stone-paved lanes, slate-roofed houses, and the Gurung Museum showcasing the community's rich heritage. It serves as a popular stop on the Annapurna Base Camp trek and is also a wonderful standalone short trek from Pokhara.
