About Helambu Trek

The Helambu Trek is one of the easiest and most accessible treks from Kathmandu, making it ideal for beginners and those with limited time. The trail winds through beautiful Sherpa and Tamang villages, rhododendron and pine forests, and terraced farmland in the Helambu region northeast of Kathmandu Valley. The highest point reaches only 3,650m, so altitude sickness is rarely an issue. The region is known for its warm hospitality, Buddhist monasteries, and panoramic views of Langtang Lirung, Dorje Lakpa, and Gauri Shankar.
