About Kakani

Kakani is a scenic hilltop village northwest of Kathmandu offering excellent views of the Ganesh Himal, Langtang, and Manaslu ranges. At just 29 km from the capital, it is one of the easiest mountain viewpoints to reach from Kathmandu. The area is known for its strawberry farms, flower nurseries, and a memorial park for victims of the 1992 Thai Airways crash. Kakani is ideal for a quick escape from the city with fresh mountain air and beautiful sunsets.
