Mushroom Chili

Spicy Indo-Nepali style chili mushrooms
Ingredients
- - 500g button mushrooms, halved
- - 1 cup onion, sliced
- - 1 cup bell peppers, sliced
- - 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
- - 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- - 1 tablespoon chili sauce
- - 1 tablespoon tomato ketchup
- - 1 teaspoon vinegar
- - 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- - 3 tablespoons oil
- - Salt and pepper to taste
- - Green onions for garnish
Instructions

1Heat oil in a wok over high heat.

2Add mushrooms and stir-fry until golden and moisture evaporates. Remove and set aside.

3In the same wok, add onions and bell peppers. Stir-fry for 2 minutes.

4Add ginger-garlic paste, stir for 30 seconds.

5Add soy sauce, chili sauce, ketchup, vinegar and sugar. Mix well.

6Return mushrooms to wok. Toss to coat with sauce.

7Season with salt and pepper.

8Garnish with green onions. Serve hot as a starter or side dish.
