About Devghat
Devghat is one of Nepal's holiest sites, located at the sacred confluence of the Trisuli and Kali Gandaki rivers near Narayanghat. This serene pilgrimage destination is dotted with ashrams, temples, and meditation centers. It is particularly significant during Makar Sankranti (January) when tens of thousands of pilgrims gather for ritual bathing. Many Hindu ascetics and elderly devotees choose to spend their final days here in spiritual contemplation. The area is also rich in birdlife and offers peaceful riverside walks.
