Tilicho Lake, at 4,919m, is one of the highest lakes in the world and a highlight of the Annapurna Circuit. Surrounded by towering peaks of the Annapurna range, the turquoise glacial lake sits in a dramatic amphitheater of rock and ice. The detour to Tilicho from the main Annapurna Circuit is a challenging but incredibly rewarding side trek that offers some of the most spectacular scenery in the Himalayas.
