Rice flour sweet bread - traditional breakfast treat
Ingredients
- - 2 cups rice flour
- - 1/2 cup sugar
- - 1/2 cup grated coconut
- - 1/4 cup ghee, melted
- - 1/2 cup milk
- - 1/4 teaspoon cardamom powder
- - Pinch of salt
- - Oil for frying
Instructions

1Mix rice flour, sugar, coconut, cardamom and salt.

2Add melted ghee and mix well.

3Add milk gradually to form a soft dough.

4Divide into small portions and shape into flat round discs.

5Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.

6Fry puwa until golden brown on both sides.

7Drain on paper towels.

8Serve warm with tea. Popular breakfast item in Nepal.
