Traditional Nepali ring-shaped rice bread - crispy and slightly sweet
Ingredients
- - 4 cups rice flour
- - 1 cup sugar
- - 1/2 cup ghee (clarified butter), melted
- - 1 cup milk
- - 1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder
- - 1/4 teaspoon clove powder
- - Oil for deep frying
- - Water as needed
Instructions

1Mix rice flour with sugar in a large bowl.

2Add melted ghee, milk, cardamom, and clove powder.

3Gradually add water while mixing to form a thick, pourable batter (thicker than pancake batter).

4Let the batter rest for 30 minutes.

5Heat oil in a deep pan to medium-high heat.

6Take batter in your hand and let it pour in a circular motion into the oil, forming a ring shape.

7Fry until golden brown on both sides, flipping once.

8Drain on paper towels. Serve warm or at room temperature.
