Paneer Momo
Momo Recipe
Cottage cheese filled dumplings with aromatic spices
Ingredients
- Dough for wrappers:
- - 4 cups all-purpose flour
- - 1 tablespoon oil
- - 3/4 cup water
- - Pinch of salt
- Filling:
- - 400g paneer, crumbled
- - 1 cup onion, finely chopped
- - 1/2 cup green pepper, finely chopped
- - 1/2 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- - 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
- - 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
- - 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
- - 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
- - 1/4 teaspoon turmeric
- - 2 green chilies, minced
- - Salt and Pepper
- - 2 tablespoons oil
Instructions

1Saute onion, peppers, garlic and ginger in oil. Add spices and cook for a minute. Mix with crumbled paneer and cilantro. Season with salt and pepper. Let cool.

2Make dough, rest, roll out wrappers. Fill with paneer mixture, pleat closed.

3Steam for 10-12 minutes. Serve with mint chutney or tomato achar.
